BOAT INSTRUCTIONS

Max capacitty is 9 People
Uncover the boat first - place poles and cover on the dock. Roll from back to front - which makes it easier when it is time to cover the boat.
Uncover console - place on dock
Remove the cover from the bimini top and then set up the bimini top if needed
IMPORTANT: IT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE LIFE JACKETS FOR EVERY PERSON!

we do have some life jackets in the dock box -use the code provided to you if needed.

If you will need gas on the lake - make sure you have funds with you on the boat (cash or credit card)

(you can find this at the marinas on the lake)

DO NOT ADD 2 CYCLE OIL

Lower Outboard into the water until prop is below the water by pressing the down arrow on remote control unit handle- reference above picture
Insert the key in console and turn the key to the right to start

Place the bumpers in the boat
IMPORTANT: explain rules- no standing or walking while the boat is underway, alcoholic beverages kept discrete and in coozies and kept low
Unhook the boat cables from the dock- make sure everyone is on board, then push off from the dock
Put the boat in reverse by moving the handle from nuetral and engage reverse gear by moving the handle down. The more you move the lever down the faster you will go

(GO SLOW FOR NOW)!

Try to stay in the middle of the cove until you are farther out, then turn the boat and move forward by squeezing the white handle lever lock to release and engage forward gear
Watch for the floating yellow bumpers and the stumps until you reach the main lake
Once you are on the main lake you can lower the outboard motor by pressing the down arrow on the handle.
Turn on the GPS Fishfinder on the console to guide you around the lake. When prompted hit the exit button to begin
Hit the view button until you see an overhead view of the lake - zoom in and out hitting the plus and minus button. Hit the go to button and select the point of interest, then press the right arrow button to select

Please be considerate and replace the gas that you used for the next group that may want a boat ride.
Please gas the boat at lake marinas since we use unleaded -Ethanol free gas.
Remember when returning to the Hidden Cove dock to raise your outboard motor enough that the prop is still in the water but will not hit the stumps.
Place the bumpers outside the boat when you are approaching the dock
When you get to the dock, place the boat in neutral by moving the lever to the center position until it locks in place, once you reach the dock, you can shut off the motor and secure the boat by attaching the boat cables to the dock hooks.
Remove any personal belongings from the boat - remember it might rain overnight.
Remove any trash on the boat

IMPORTANT: Please cover the console before you leave in case of rain. Cover the boat if you have finished using the boat and are not planning for another boat ride during your stay
